FALL 2026 ENROLLMENT IS NOW OPEN!
South County Virtual Academy High School Enrollment:
For FULL-TIME and HYBRID ENROLLMENT (majority of classes with SCVA + 1-2 classes at resident high school).
NOT FOR SINGLE COURSE STUDENTS (see below for single course enrollment)
This is a 3-STEP PROCESS:
1. Watch the 30-minute information video which will provide comprehensive information about South County Virtual Academy.
2. Fill out this online Google form.
3. You will receive an email with instructions to sign up for an in-person enrollment meeting at SCVA which is located on the Saddleback College campus.
Middle College Academy Enrollment:

All Middle College Academy applications will be collected through April 3, 2026.

After the application window closes, our Middle College committee will review all applications to ensure students are performing at grade level and are prepared for the academic expectations of the program. As part of this review, we will consider past and current grades, standardized test scores, and average daily attendance.

For the inaugural year of the program, we will be accepting a maximum cohort of 30 students (incoming 9th graders only).

Once the review process is complete, all families will be notified of their application status and next steps by April 17, 2026.
Single Course Enrollment Fall 2026:
- Single Course Enrollment Form
- The single course enrollment form needs to be started by the STUDENT.
- The form then needs to be approved by the school counselor, parent, high school assistant principal, and finally SCVA.
- The student will not be enrolled until it is approved by SCVA.
- At that time, they will receive a confirmation email to the original email address they used to fill out the form.
- SINGLE COURSE STUDENTS MAY NOT TAKE PE, Algebra 1, or Geometry.

STUDENTS WITH AN IEP
If your child has an Individualized Education Program (IEP), please contact your child's Case Carrier regarding placement in an independent study school. The IEP placement meeting must be held before a student can enroll into South County Virtual Academy.
EXTRA CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR PROGRAMS
South County Virtual Academy students have the opportunity to participate in co-curricular programs, extra curricular activities, athletic team sports, and fine arts programs (band, orchestra, theater) at their CUSD "home" high school, as per CUSD Board Policy. This is a unique opportunity that is not commonly available to students attending online schools. Audition and try-out requirements apply.
